And Hart of Dixie is back! I think Dan has a countdown for when this show ends. He can’t take it anymore. There are four more episodes and we’ve come full circle with the George/Zoe relationship. I like Tansy but unfortunately her only scenes now involve her getting jealous about George/Zoe or telling George what he can’t do. It feels like the writers want us to root for George/Zoe again. But as Jonah said, George is very dull. Sorry I’m not sorry for all you George fans out there, but I’ve never liked the George/Zoe storyline. He makes her boring.
Wade is having a pond party? Or Mayor Lavon Hayes is having a pond party, and the gross looking pond outside Zoe’s place is filled with half-naked spring breakers…Zoe is not excited. She’s highly responsible now. Her box wine drinking Wade kissing self from Season one is so over. And I guess she was too busy studying when she was in school to go crazy during spring break. Jonah tries to convince Zoe to cut loose for a change.
Annabeth and Lemon have rekindled their friendship but not enough for Lemon to be OK with Lavon and Annabeth gettin’ their freak on. Both Lavon and Annabeth look incredibly sad about this.
Anthropologie Shadeflower Dress is (sold out)
Wally wants to sell the Rammer Jammer as he thinks his ‘window to live’ is closing. When Wade offers to buy it, Wally just laughs at him. Lemon tells Annabeth that she wants them to buy it but Annabeth wants nothing to do with a joint partnership (even though Lemon cannot live without her).
Lavon spots Ruby in the crowd. Ugh Ruby. Why is she back? She thought it would be weird to call Lavon and let him know she’s in town but agrees to get coffee. UGH Ruby. She’s in full on flirt mode with Lavon, ready to break his sensitive heart again. Ruby uses her special skills to throw a Hands on a Boat contest. Later, Annabeth sees Lavon and Ruby together and looks frightened.
George does NOT like Jonah Breeland. Jonah basically dismissed George as really boring when George tries to lecture Jonah about taking Zoe out. Jonah says that if Zoe wants to make some bad decisions then that’s her prerogative. Later, George calls Zoe to tell her that Brick can’t take over her shift because George and Brick got a flat tire. Jonah tells Zoe that George will do anything to keep them from their Spring Break date.
Lemon decides to join the Hand on a Boat contest which pisses off Wade who is scamming girls with his, “Dad died trying to save the dolphins,” story so that they take their hand off the boat. Lemon sees what Wade is doing and turns on her own storytelling. A random chick pops up out of nowhere and she’s even crazier than Lemon and Wade put together. Might not be as easy to narrow down the pack as they hoped.
Zoe visits George to yell at him for sabotaging her date with Jonah. Tansy comes out of the bedroom to confront George about it. He stumbles through an explanation about friendship and thinking Jonah is bad news but Tansy doesn’t buy it.
Lemon and Wade chase off crazy lady by acting totally out of their minds and strapping some lizard feet on Wade. Apparently these sort of contests can lead to hallucinations. I watched this and seriously was like “whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat is happening?!?!?!?” This is a wacky episode.
Brick hurt his hand from fixing the flat tire with George but when George goes to visit him the next day Brick’s hand is totally normal. Hmmm. Kinda sketchy. Shelby visits Tansy and George because she’s worried about Brick, who has been clumsy and having headaches. George runs off to tell Dr. Hart who happens to be with Jonah – after a few minutes the two doctors decide George isn’t trying to c-block and Brick might actually need medical attention.
Annabeth and Lavon have a moment before Ruby interrupts them with a basket of food. Ruby brought Lavon his favorite dinner and tells him that she made a mistake leaving him for Dallas. She tells him to think about it. Annabeth, who has been watching the whole scene looks devastated.
All the kids are waiting for Brick to get out of his MRI: Lemon, Annabeth, Jonah, Zoe, and George. Lemon takes this time to tell Annabeth that she’s been selfish and that Annabeth should go fight for Lavon. We know she hates Ruby and couldn’t stand to see Ruby win and she has a soft spot for Lavon but she might actually want Annabeth to be happy. Shelby shows up to wait with them and Brick, thankfully, just needs a small operation and everything will be ok.
When Annabeth comes to tell Lavon that she’s there to win him over, Lavon tells Annabeth that her hat is the only one in the ring. And that Ruby has nothing on Annabeth. Awwww. They kiss. It’s happiness.
The dynamic duo – Lemon and Wade decide to go into business together because they tied in the contest when Wade let go after hearing Brick was going to the hospital. Wade’s a good sport. He didn’t want to win by Lemon’s forfeit. But oh boy Lemon and Wade going into business together? That will be interesting for them. We know they can work together but this sounds like trouble.
