Pinterest Picks – Five Holiday Cocktails

My favorite part of the holidays is all the parties. I love parties. I love mingling and catching up with people. I love finger foods and tasty drinks. So it just feels right to write a post about holiday cocktails. Growing up I was blessed with wonderful neighbors. They’re really my extended family and boy do they love to throw down during the holidays. I mean they’ll find any excuse for a party, everything from casual tea time to pajama parties. Since I moved out of my childhood neighborhood I’ve really missed living close to my super fun neighbors, I’ve also missed out on a ton of parties. Dan and I are waiting to move into a new apartment, hopefully in February, but I’m itching to throw a party. Until then, we’ve been wanting to experiment with winter cocktails. We tried our hand at making sangria this summer and it turned out pretty darn good so why not some wintery drinks?

I found a tasty array of drinks and everything from a super easy trick of freezing cranberries to keep your champagne chilled and festive, to the more time consuming Swedish Glogg which is like spiced wine but with almonds and raisins. But don’t be afraid to experiment – there are a ton of holiday delicious drink recipes out there to play around with and get people into the holiday spirit.
