How She’d Wear It with Style and Cheek

When I was planning this New Year’s Eve post I decided to avoid black completely. There are so many beautiful black party dresses it was difficult to resist my addiction, but New Year’s is one of the times where it’s acceptable to go crazy with sparkle. Time to really rock the metallic, glittery, white, basically anything that would catch a goldfish’s eye. Pick your shiniest pieces as you celebrate the incoming of a new year. Bring it on 2014!

How She'd Wear It with Style and Cheek - New Year's Eve 2013 gold | New Year's Eve Outfits

1. Kate Spade New York Cueva Rosa Stud Earrings

2. Juliet & Company Petite Foret Necklace

3. Soiree Pouch from Anthropologie

4. Zara Leather High Heel Sandal

5. ModCloth Twinkling At Twilight Dress

6. TOPSHOP Boiled Wool Skirted Coat

I love the shape of this dress, it’s so flattering and will accentuate your shoulders and bust. But it’s New Year’s Eve so make sure to decorate that sexy collarbone with a fly necklace. This outfit reminds me of a glass of champagne; classy and smooth with incredibly lady-like glittering details. It’s a look that would make Betty Draper jealous.

1. Zara Coat With Gathering On The Shoulder

2. Catch My Eye Sequined Dress In Rose Gold

3. frieda&nellie Rhinestone Marks The Spot Earrings

4. Santi Pearl Clutch

5. J.Crew Strappy Mirror Metallic Pumps

I was a little inspired by Daisy from The Great Gatsby on this one with all the sparkle and vintage details of the pieces. If you’re really ballsy you can wear an awesome, gaudy headpiece but I chose some large and in charge drop earrings. Wear your dancing shoes because this 20s style drop waist sequined dress requires some swishing and twirling.
