If you’ve been up on the social gossip you know that the lovely Blake Lively is pregnant. You’ve probably also seen the massive amounts of coverage on her baby shower, a celebration put on by Blake Lively’s lifestyle brand Preserve. The baby shower has been all over the internet but Preserve gave us two blog posts with photos from this seriously stunning party: Bringing up Baby and Falling for Family. As someone who has never given a flying bat about baby showers, this has got to be the most beautiful baby shower I’ve ever seen. You’re not alone if you look at the pics and think, “ugh, why isn’t my life this stylish?” Blake Lively has made a pretty awesome brand. I’d love to be friends with Blake or even work with her. She always seems to be laughing or smiling.

Here’s one thing I learned after scouring the website: Preserve knows their brand. Blake Lively has somehow made Preserve fit the many sides of her personality but still maintain to a very specific vibe of accessible rustic beauty. I really admire the cohesiveness of Preserve, even though it’s something I would never want/ (be able to accomplish) personally. If you read Style and Cheek regularly you’ve probably seen that there are a lot of styles that I love, this being just one of them. Preserve hits the spot with the side of me that wants to spend time baking pies in the kitchen in a cozy cottage and taking long walks through the woods. If that sounds good to you then you’ll probably love Preserve.
Other than styling totally amazing baby showers where everyone looks perfect, Preserve is a lifestyle brand that sells clothing, jewelry, home goods, and food made by artisans from around the states. Along with getting the names of artisans out into the world they also give back and have partnered with Covenant House to give a percentage of each Preserve purchase towards their meal, clothing, and blanket goal. You can read more about it on their Greater Good page.
While this is a Fancy Friday post I have to tell you that Preserve has a variety of price points and almost everything I’ve listed on this post is under $200. In fact that gorgeous agate cuff is only $45. I might have to get it because it is so so pretty and affordable. It’s not often that you fall in love with a brand that has beautiful desirable pieces that appear as if they’d be worth a fortune but turn out to be within most people’s budgets. Bravo Preserve! Not only am I happy I found a baby shower that is along the lines of what I’d want for myself (never thought it would happen), I’m glad I found such unique, pretty pieces. I’d love to add any of the items below to my closet. Which is your favorite?
