I don’t post enough dessert on Style and Cheek and I think that needs to change. Truthfully I crave salty food more than sweets but I still love me some dessert. Last year Dan was obsessed with ice cream sandwiches and we would always have some in the freezer. I think we were going through at least a box a week. Ice cream sandwiches are close to the perfect summer treat. They’re not a super messy but kinda messy dessert that makes your regular ice cream craving feel a lot more special. They’re also relatively easy to make with endless possibilities. You have your ice cream of choice and then some kind of outer cookie holding it all together. Chocolately, fruity, decadent, tart, any flavor you desire!
I put together some really yummy sounding ice cream sandwiches today and I tried to give you a variety of flavors. There are some really creative ones on here! Who woulda thought using hand pies for ice cream sandwiches. And I’m so glad I came across the cookie dough sandwich bites because I might never have thought to put it together like that.
