It’s been awhile since I talked about For Love and Lemons but with the recent weather change here in Seattle (hello sunshine!), it feels like the perfect time to talk about their recently released swim collection. I first read about their swimline on their post featuring Sara Escudero of Collage Vintage, one of my favorite fashion bloggers, and I fell absolutely in love with her photos. The water paired with the pretty purple floral print of the suit was gorgeous (as you can see in the photo above). That photo inspired some major wanderlust.
Unlike last year where I was itching for a tropical vacation before winter even ended, this year I haven’t felt that itch to get away, let alone talk about swimwear until I saw For Love and Lemons swim debut collection. Now I’m ready to be poolside! Like their intimates line, For Love and Lemons really aced the mix of lingerie style with swimwear for a really exciting and sexy collection, from barely there bikinis to creative underwire for crazy necklines to their signature scalloped lace designs. Some of their suits look straight out of their lingerie collection and if they fit anything like lingerie then I shall consider their swimwear collection a success.
My biggest problem with most swimwear is that it doesn’t fit like lingerie. I need that extra lift and seamless lines so I’m all for the unique designs For Love and Lemons’ unique designs that seem just as functional (and comfortable) as they are beautiful. I love the lace details, the dark red bikinis, plunging necklines, and purple floral print. The trouble here isn’t finding a serviceable bikini, it’s deciding which of these awesome options you’ll be living in on your next vacation.
