Maybe it’s too simple to say that I enjoy Lisi’s blog: The Beauty File because it’s so visually appealing, but from a creative perspective The Beauty File puts together great compositions in every post. The photos she chooses to showcase are beautiful on their own, which is not something every blog accomplishes. I really enjoyed the Doir Pre Fall 2012 post which made me wish I dressed in romantic colors and textures. After checking out Essentials: The Nude Bag I hate/love Olivia Palermo even more, especially with her equally fashionable prepster boyfriend.

Dan thought A Cup of Joe’s banner said “acka-puh-foe-joe” whatever that is. So now he says that when I visit Joanna’s blog. She seems really down to earth and I like that her posts are all over the place from iPhone cases to Four things to say to a friend after a bad breakup. You never know what she will write about next. Whether it’s about her family, food or style, it all is very genuine and easy to connect with.

The first thing I think when I stop by Annemarie’s blog is “ooh what a pretty blog” and it is. I think I visit the blog sometimes just to feel girly. I especially like the Delicate Glam – Pink + White Party post which makes me want to go find some blush pink and mint china. Yesterday, she posted Frame Affection and being a girl who wears glasses it made me want to go buy some new frames –  I like the “scholarly” ones best.

I feel like I’m tripping. Sarah Louise’s blog: Baby is a Sinner is an indie chick haven and posts like Andros makes me want to be friends with her. She seems like the laid-back-possibly-get-you-into-a-lot-of-trouble-friend which translates through her posts. If that’s not enough to intrigue you then you haven’t looked at enough fashion/lifestyle blogs. It takes gonads to wear a blue fur coat. Is it just me or does she have a similar stance/look as Chloë Sevigny?

Kristen’s blog: Stylenik is full of smart posts. I really appreciate that she frequently references other articles to add some depth to her already-analytical fashion posts. Check out her Science of Style: Black Really Does Make You Look Leaner – and Meaner post which made me reconsider why I love black so much – maybe I just like to mean mug people. Kristen just seems like a cool woman to hang out with. I’d go to brunch with you Kristen and yes you’d look cooler than me: see what I mean?
