I’m kidding, you probably won’t look good stuffing your face, so don’t let anyone take pictures. But your outfit can look good! For my parents’ Super Bowl party I tried to dress as comfortably as possible. If I’m going to stuff my face with chips, chili, and chicken, I want to be able to hide my food baby easily but still look pretty. I want to feel good (ie eat deliciousness) and look good, even if I have to unbutton my pants because I ate waaaay too much queso. Oh yes I did…
This picture was not intended to be used. I was just messing around, but it ended up being a nice picture of the shirt. I wear this J. Crew Keeper Chambray Shirt all the time. This is probably my favorite way to wear it, with a cute white tank underneath, but I also did a post where I layered it. The other day I saw Emily of Cupcakes and Cashmere wearing the exact same chambray in her Estée Lauder feature video.
Here I am with my Grandma Marilyn who is so supportive and a sweetheart. She’s also my Avon lady. We’re supposed to go bowling sometime soon. A few weeks ago I picked up this adorable headband from Anthropologie. It makes me feel like an ice queen or fairy so I dress it down. I’m also wearing my 7 For All Mankind skinny jeans and Minnetonka moccasins that Dan bought me a few months ago that I also wear all the time. As you can see I made sure that I wore comfortable clothing that didn’t compromise my ability to eat. It was a good end to a very successful family weekend with a much needed food coma.
