Into The Gloss: Every so often I stumble across a blog that makes me feel like I need to step up my game. Into the Gloss is an example of how I eventually hope to portray my blog. Editor Emily Weiss is inside the fashion industry so as expected she has a really high quality blog. Here, she creates a look for model Eniko Mihalik that’s based off Eniko’s gorgeous gold nails. I also love her backstage footage from the Fall 2012 Rodarte show – one of my most admired designers.

Sequin Harvest: I forget how I found these Napa Valley girls but I’ve been happy to see their updates on bloglovin’. To be honest I thought those J. Brand floral skinnies in the Daffodil post was actually a floral pencil skirt. Either way I think they’re adorable. Great colors and great floor! Kendall and Sam are laid-back and have so much fun. I was salivating over their Weekend Casual post where they devoured delicious looking crab rolls at Nettie’s Crab Shack.

Sterling Style: This girl Taylor Sterling seems so successful. She is not only in charge of Sterling Style, she is the founder and creative director of Glitter Guide. Respect! May I borrow that cute horse print blouse please? The top is from Zara but click here to see the whole outfit because I also want her sunglasses and purse. Taylor is getting married soon and I fell in love with her wedding inspiration post, I can’t wait to see pictures from the real thing!

Sous Style: My parents were the ones who introduced me to Pippa Lord’s site. Thank goodness they are so with it! I ended up spending a few hours just going through the archives right after they showed me. I’m like that, if I really like something I will immerse myself in it. I just couldn’t get over how funny this chick Pippa is. Her regular Lady Porn posts are a favorite. There’s all kinds of random good stuff on Sous Style but the post above features Ariele Alasko who lists some of her favorite meals and gives a tutorial on how to make a wooden table.

Keiko Lynn: I love when bloggers share their personal lives. When I can relate to a blogger, I start to like their work a lot more. Keiko Lynn is popular for her old-school hair wraps, you’ve probably seen her on Pinterest, but when I read the Laundry post about her boyfriend shrinking her shirt I was like, “Dan has shrunk my clothes too!” But then again, I have shrunk Dan’s shirts in the past too…so I ain’t no laundry saint.
