I am ridiculously excited that Hart of Dixie is back! I love the cheesiness and the clothes and making fun of Lemon. Her hair has gotten a lot better but her voice still weirds me out. Even though her headbands and bouffants are distracting, if I chop off my hair I think I’d do a Lemon cut.
I will discuss Lemon’s jacket in a few pictures because the prize here is the mayor Lavon Hayes. He’s a well dressed man on the regular but he can totally wear pastels and still look manly. He’s wearing pink and purple like he stepped right out of an easter basket and I like it. Thank you Lavon, for being the fashion conscious mayor of Bluebell.
Zoe Hart trying to do the stank face, or “I’m angry but I’m going to act like I don’t care” face. She just looks like she smelled something nasty. Great eye make-up though. And hair. She always has the best hair. This outfit is similar to her staple – blazer and business shorts and this time she added what I thought was a scarf but is actually a scarf blouse. I don’t know if I could commit to an entire blouse but I really like the print.
This woman kills it. The two dresses she wears, this floral one and a coral number are so flattering. She’s the most stylish secretary/nurse I’ve seen and up until this point I hadn’t really noticed her style. She’s blooming. Get it? Spring’s here. Flowers blooming. Whatever, the dress is pretty.
Lemon is usually all dressed up with nowhere to go – the woman apparently doesn’t work, so obviously she should be trying to ruin Zoe. This is one of Lemon’s outfits that I don’t dislike. The cropped quilted jacket looks a little too much like a house coat but the bow shape is appealing. Her blouse is what I really like. It looks like an off centered scarf blouse in watermelon. Poor girl looks like she tasted something very sour, maybe a Lemon? Cheesy von cheeseness.
Not the most flattering facial expression, sorry! But the dress looks great. Big ruffles look best on toned women. The floral dress is more my style but coral is a great color on Addie. While Zoe looks all moody in her dark colors and Lemon is a retro freak, Addie is doing it right in Bluebell.
Here’s Miss pouty face in a cute leopard dress. I love the print, I don’t love the zipper. It’s body conscious, short, right up Zoe’s alley. Why can’t I find cute dresses with sleeves that length? There’s a key to not looking skanky when wearing leopard and zippers and it’s about how much skin you choose to show. Her dress is short but she is showing no chest and her arms are partially covered. Alluding to her inner animal maybe? That’s what I think when I see leopard.
My camera skills could be better but I blame how darn fast that girl walks! Petite people and their fast walks. Here, take a look at her printed Of Two Minds dress. Have I explained my love for Zoe Hart’s wardrobe? I don’t think I have. I want all of it. I’m still looking for a dress that’s similar to the ALC dress she wore with the House of Harlow necklace.
From the back I thought she looked great but then from the front it’s dorky lopsided bow and drab coloring. Her hair looks nice, from the back at least. The headband is pulling her hair back and matching her high-strung, tightly wound personality. It’s not awful, it’s just not great. Here are the details on Lemon’s outfit, it’s all Marc by Marc Jacobs.
Those shoes! Whatever about Lemon and her bland ensemble, look at Zoe’s shoes! I hoped they were part of Rachel Bilson’s new shoe line ShoeMint but they are Georgina Goodman.
Hi my name is Lemon and I’m a liar pants prissy face. Look at Lemon and her bows/beaus. I mean the bow…it’s the episode of the bows. First she had the cool weird house jacket bow, then the floppy bow and now this bow. I kinda dig the structure of the jacket but in a different color. All this cream is too obvious but then so is her bad lying. We’ll see how next week’s confrontation with George pans out. Come on George, are you that clueless?
