This episode of Hart of Dixie really put fans in a piss poor mood. Over the past few days I have read numerous disgruntled blog posts from fans saying Hart of Dixie should be cancelled for pulling this Zoe/George BS. I have to say I was pretty annoyed at Zoe the entire episode but not enough to wish an end to the show! Plus, I had the hardest time finding Zoe’s clothes in this episode. If I find more of the pieces I’ll update this post with the info.
Dan said the logo on these pajamas look like Tommy Bahama. Who knew that Mr. Bahama made such feminine clothing, but they are actually Alexa Chung for Madewell: valentine pajama shirt and pajama pants. I’m so disappointed that they are sold out. Everyday pajamas have been a big hit with bloggers who support the wearing of pajamas outside the house. Here, Zoe is still delusional and ignores the Lavon wisdom, “Zoe, you either don’t listen to me or you get angry.” So he’s staying out of the Zoe/George/Lemon issue.
The cardigan George is wearing looks good but Dan says George’s t-shirt isn’t quite tight enough to make it not look schlubby. I think he just doesn’t like George. Lemon looks all “poor me and my relationship that I didn’t try to fix when I had the chance.” I don’t feel for her but I do like the bodice on her dress and the cream, orange, and floral combo. I’d really love the outfit if she wasn’t so overdone with her embellished headband, earrings, necklace and brooch.
I searched everywhere for this darn dress, why is it so hard to find the zipper dresses Zoe wears in this show? I always end up finding the super tiny, strapless animal print zip dresses that are fit for clubbing. Let’s class it up like Zoe here with the aztec-ish print and high neck. I did find what I think is her necklace; this Lulu Frost Fin Necklace is super cute. I thought it was feathers but they’re fins and have a shell detail.
“I’m real lucky to have you in my life Zoe.” You know George, I liked a guy like you. He sucked. Please don’t fall for this Zoe. Dan wants to know when George is gonna get interesting, grow out some stubble, and start doing Wrangler ads with Brett Favre? Real. Boring. Character.
This is the 5th or 6th time Zoe has done any actual doctoring on the show, so let’s applaud that. I do enjoy when the three of them have scenes together, it’s always amusing. Here, Lavon is busting out of his polo shirt, where is Annabeth to see this? She loves Lavon. Wade also looks like he needs to fall down in the mud catching a football. I think there should be an episode where the three guys play football together and someone needs to fight over Zoe while on the field. Oh wait, that reminds me of Wedding Crashers.
Is that a white crochet skirt suit? There are probably ways to make this look really cute but she looks like bridezilla/stepford wife. The earrings and ponytail are pretty but the bow in her hair is silly. George looks like Lemon is going to make him throw-up. I can’t see what he sees in her, he seems way too disgusted with her to get over her mistake so quickly.
Wade, you’re leading on your ex-wife. I like Wade’s ex, she seems sweet and I hope they find a way to keep her in the storyline. Zoe, you’re not acting any better than Wade. Those bangly earrings are whacking her in the neck but I kinda like them and her shirt. Scouring for this tuxedo shirt with what I believe is a leather collar. I’d wear it if I could find it, yeah it’s my job. I’ll keep looking.
Lemon is so irritating! Her hat and dress are straight Katherine Hepburn. And her laugh is awful. I think the people who produce this show decided to have Jamie King make the most annoying laugh ever. Interesting that George and Lemon are now kinda matching their outfits here, a little clue that they are meant to be? Maybe. Worn on tv found some great pieces that are similar to what Lemon is wearing here. I think the River Island Kickflare Pants in Red are close and I love the elephant print blouse from ASOS.
Zoe’s Edith A. Miller Metallic Scoop Neck T-Shirt. It’s well fitted, is a rich color, looks like it has a nice texture, and is glittery as a bonus. She looks adorable in slightly sporty casual shirts and her hair is gorgeous. I love her hair. Hart of Dixie’s stylists do a wonderful job on her hair and makeup.
Zoe’s presence distracts Wade. How does Zoe have no idea that Wade wants her to operate on him? Poor Wade never made it very clear. Take your woman Wade! Use that southern charm.
LAVON!!!!!!!!!!! Looking stylish in his gray vest and straw fedora and lavender button down shirt. He looks as sweet as ever. Zoe you’re an idiot. You’ll wait for George? Lavon is making it pretty clear that you’re making a mistake but you’re not listening, as usual.
This was probably the only time on Hart of Dixie where I got a little upset. She looks so taken aback here by Wade yelling at her. They are interesting together. At times I like their humor and sweetness but other times their fights can get pretty nasty. They’re kinda mean to each other. The best part of the episode? Wade making a list of things he dislikes about Zoe: Stupid shorts. Oh CW, you so funny!
