I’ve been kinda obsessed with the Ralph Lauren suede clutch and Zara flower print shorts ever since I found them. Though I am shy about wearing color, I tend to fall in love with pieces that are rich and vivid. These two pieces remind me of a tropical beach resort, during the day you have the bright turquoise waters and then as night falls the sky turns into a mix of purple, pink and blue. Here are pieces that evoke that striking visual; the floral sunglasses, shorts and swimsuit all make me think tropical, the clutch looks like bougainvillea and the nail polish like the sea. If I were to dip my toe into this style, I would incorporate a little edge with tough gold jewelry like the spike cuff and ribbon stud earrings. The journal goes along with the idea of traveling to a new place. It would be perfect to bring on a trip and write down or sketch what inspires you.
