A Taste of Oxblood

A Taste of Oxblood

I’ve always been drawn to dark shades of red. Deep burgundy, or wine, they are romantic and vigilant at the same time, and call back to the old world. It reminds me of a cold drizzle through the changing leaves of fall, where all you want is to be cozy. Whether it is purple burgundy or the dark reddish-brown oxblood, shades of dark red are incredibly versatile as they pair well with any skin tone and most colors, even neon. You’re thinking no, but yes! It is definitely possible if you know how to tone down the rest of your outfit. I particularly love the mixture of oxblood and orange or burgundy and gold.
