What’s Your Favorite Red Nail Polish?

What’s the best stocking stuffer? Nail polish. Well, socks too, but nail polish is a much better surprise. I’m always delighted when I get new polish but I can be pretty picky. Often times I will walk into a store, pick up five to ten different polishes and walk out with nothing. A color really has to call to me or I need to be on a mission for a specific polish. These missions happen a lot. I read about a color online or in a magazine and think, I need that. What can I say? When it comes to polish I usually trust the experts.

I was at Ulta picking up some hair product when I decided I needed a new red nail polish. A regular, no shimmer, blue-red. Initially, I went to the butter LONDON section because ever since I bought butter’s Queen Vic I have been a fan of theirs. Unfortunately, I only found Knees Up which is a shimmery metallic red and I wanted a creamy red. So I headed over to Essie and came out with Essie’s Fishnet Stockings. I’d never heard of it but I love it. It’s a really nice, clean red that looks great with my fair skin. So I decided to research some favorite reds, because I can’t have too many, and wanted to give those of you who like orange-red some ideas as well. Here are four highly rated colors. If you have tried any of these, let us know your thoughts. Or let us know your favorite red polish. I think my next mission will be to pick up butter London’s Saucy Jack.

Queen Vic is my favorite of all favorites. I have also tried the butter LONDON Saucy Jack. You should try Chanel Rouge Carat or Deborah Lippmann My Old Flame

I loooove Queen Vic. What did you think of Saucy Jack? I really want to try it. And I’ve never tried Deborah Lippman because I don’t know where to find it. Where do you get it and what do you think of their polishes?
