I hope everyone enjoyed their Easter weekend! We were so fortunate to have gorgeous warm weather all weekend. Dan and I went to my parent’s house for Easter and spent most of it outside playing with my nephew. On Saturday we went on a long walk and it was warm enough to wear a dress. I was so happy to wear less layers, but when I looked at my shoe options I was not so happy. My spring sandal options, besides flip-flops, are no good. If I’m not on vacation near a beach, flip-flops won’t cut it. I’ll need something that I can easily slip on and off, but that also look classy when they’re on so I can step off the beach and into a restaurant without feeling self-conscious. Here are some versatile sandal options, perfect for the warm weather ahead.
These light-colored, shiny straps are fit for a goddess, and the easiest group of sandals to dress up. They already look so glamorous even with out a flowy, goddessy dress to wear with them.
Sandals you can wear with jeans or a skirt or a dress are awesome, and these earthy brown sandals could go with pretty much any colors or fabric. They’d compliment jeans, and contrast nicely with any brights. Wear them with a light neutral and make them the focal point.
The amount of sunset colored sandal options makes me think that Tangerine is still having its moment. Bright sandals are great if you want to make a statement, either with jeans or a dress. I’d want to experiment with prints with these sandals but I’m also imagining a lovely, white eyelet dress.
Black or navy will always be the best color for a night out on the town, and sandals are no exception to that rule. These babies are casual enough to still be summery, but still dressy enough to be worn almost anywhere.
