The Makeup Lady – Pinterest Inspired Spring Makeup Looks

The title is a mouthful but don’t worry, this post is going to be fun and easy. There are so many different spring looks to try and like everything, with makeup it can be overwhelming. The key things to consider this season are color, color and more color. It’s that time of the year to really express yourself with the colors you choose. I picked four of my favorite looks that have been making their rounds on Pinterest. Three of the looks show off the extreme color and the 4^th is the perfect natural look that we all need from time to time.

Let’s break it down and see what pieces you’ll need to make these looks.

Look One: Aqua and Coral

Cara Delevingne can pull just about anything off but that’s not why I choose this look. Aqua and Coral are a great combination and work perfectly together. Bold lips are a big trend this season and why not go with coral/oranges instead of pinks/reds. The touch of color on the eyes takes it from interesting to bold. Look Two: Bold Eyes and Pale Lips

I pulled this look purely for inspiration. You don’t have to go with the blue/turquoise color but instead could substitute in some purples, greens or yellows. For the sake of the post we will stick with what is pictured. Besides, blues are a great color for spring and remind me of an ocean…which is where I wish I could be right now.

Look Three: Berry Lip

Red lips are still a thing but I have moved on. You “berry” believe it (see what I did there…) All bad jokes and puns aside, it’s time to start experimenting with bold lip colors that are not red. I love a bright pink lip with a strong liner eye look. This new look of a simple face and eye to offset the berry lip – it had me at hello! Try this look out when you’re feeling dangerous and want to step out of your comfort zone.

Look Four: Au Natural
