How She’d Wear It with Style and Cheek

While Nordstrom was having their anniversary sale I noticed that many of the sale pieces were in rich wine and berry hues, my favorite of all favorites. I love these deep red, purple hues and they’re perfect for Fall because they’re so romantic, especially paired with other jewel tones, colors of the changing leaves, even neutrals, grays, and black. So of course I’d pick this to be the trend for August. If there is a hue I’m already buying for my Fall wardrobe it’s anything burgundy, or berry, or wine – Cabernet, Bordeaux, Syrah. Since the harvest season for wine grapes in the Northern Hemisphere starts in August it’s fitting to play with some brighter purple hues to finish off the summer before moving into the richer burgundies for fall.
