Around this time I usually start thinking about which shoes I’m going to need for the changing seasons. Last year I wanted to find the perfect riding boot but this year I’m in need of booties. Even though both are wardrobe staples, you have a lot more freedom with your outfit choices while wearing booties than with riding boots. My shoe closet has more boots than any other type of shoe and I’m more comfortable walking around in boots than any other pair of shoes, especially heels. I have a ‘To Buy’ list that still include boots, including some Hunters, but this year I need of a new pair of booties. My old pair is just too slouchy for my liking. I want something sleek, something with a little bit more feminine shape. Motorcycle boots are great, but I want some legit booties. Thankfully there are so many types. I tend to love suede but there are just as many beautiful leather choices. Even though I’m looking for standard black I had to show you some gorgeous burgundy and cobalt blue boots. Gimme that sexy bootie. Now get your minds out of the gutter!
