Last week I wrote about dream dresses you could wear from day to night. Because it was Fancy Friday and on Fancy Friday I showed you the designer duds you drool over but maybe can’t spring for, today I decided to put something more affordable together. Most of the dresses are under $100 but this post is focused on fall dresses under $200. I don’t know if I’ve been watching too much New Girl (I’m re-watching season 2 with Dan) but after admiring Jessica Day’s wardrobe I realized I’m in need of some dresses to wear with tights and boots. Certainly some dresses I could wear to work, and others during the day or on a date. Basically, I’m dress inspired right now. There are so many cute dresses that are sleeveless but I tried to pick only dresses with short or long sleeves because even though sleeveless dresses are perfect for indoor parties or date nights, it is definitely getting colder.
Rhyme Los Angeles Fall Floral Dress – Even though summer has abruptly disappeared, I hadn’t missed florals until I saw this fall floral dress. I want to wear it with a chunky knit and booties.
Free People Katya Lace Dress – Lace will never let me go. Free People has such exciting pieces but this isn’t too over the top.
French Connection Paint Check Ritchie Dress – Not only does Dan like this dress, but as I was working this morning (um, procrastinating) I saw that Jaycee over at Damsel in Dior is a fan of this checked dress as well.
Amanda Uprichard Exclusive Hillary Ponte Dress – This is a dress that is considered the most “staple” piece of all because of how simple and “dress-up-able” it is.
French Connection Eddie Viscose Jersey Dress in 60s Shape – I never go for cream but there’s something about this 60s style dress that makes me love it, from the playful swingy skirt to the long sleeves.
A Wear Jersey Wrap Dress – It’s difficult to find cute wrap dresses that are age appropriate. The heart print is fun and it’s the perfect color.
Warehouse Textured Zip Back Dress – Little black dress. Needed. Such a ladylike silhouette but seriously sexy.
ASOS Mini Dress with Asymmetric Peplum Hem – First, I love forest green. Second, that peplum hem is adorable.
