Jenna Lyons, J.Crew’s creative director, made the leopard print bigger than ever when she declared that leopard is, in her opinion, a neutral. Considering how respected J.Crew is, we should all know that her opinion is a pretty solid one. She’s pretty much always spot on, which is why we all love J.Crew, and this is no exception. Leopard print has finally graduated from tacky 80s hair-metal Halloween costumes to everyday classy style. What made this post a little tricky for me was that I had so much to choose from, so I had to get literal with the ‘How She’d Wear It” concept just to narrow down the options. I went with my favorites: leopard with prints, leopard with neutrals, and leopard with purple. These also happen to have been big trends for 2013 so you probably already have most of what you need to recreate similar outfits.
