How She'd Wear It with Style and Cheek January 2014

Happy New Year my lovelies! I hope everyone had wonderful holiday adventures. Even though I wrote a ‘How She’d Wear It’ post last week it feels like it’s been forever, and I have to say I’m already missing all the glittery and sparkly holiday outfits from December. But it’s January which means it’s time to start fresh. How are we doing that? By introducing the Pantone Color of the Year Radiant Orchid.

With half the country buried under a ton of snow, Spring probably seems pretty far off but Radiant Orchid is exactly the color you need to bring life to your wardrobe, and your drab, winter weathered skin. The purple and pink undertones will make your skin tone pop. Like all Pantone colors of the year, this is no one-note color. It is versatile and goes just as well with dusty pastels like sand, baby blue, and mint, as it does with the ultra-brights like lemon and cobalt. This month on ‘How She’d Wear It’ we’ll explore a few of the combinations that work well with Radiant Orchid; it’s about to be everywhere so hopefully I can give you all a good feel of how to adapt this really fun color to your own personal style and color palette.
