Through the grapevine I heard that Moorea Seal, a fellow Seattle blogger, is opening a storefront in Belltown and her grand opening party is on Friday May 9th. If you’re local you should definitely check it out. It’s from 6-9 on Friday May 9th at 2523 3rd Avenue, 98121. There will be snacks and champagne and wine and amazingly cute things to buy. Plus, the first 100 people get an exclusive Moorea Seal tote. That’s pretty awesome and I do love me some party.
So what is Moorea Seal all about? Well I actually met Moorea at a rewardStyle meet & greet/class in Seattle. I’m pretty sure I complimented her on her outfit twenty times. I can’t even remember what she was wearing but I’m pretty sure it involved a chambray and layers and really cute thick rimmed glasses. She just looked put together. At the time I didn’t know that she makes jewelry but her store and online shop offer a curated selection of accessories, office goods, and home goods from artists around the United States as well as special pieces from around the globe. The style definitely feels Pacific Northwest and her site ranges from rustic to vintage to chic. But Moorea Seal is not only about showcasing unknown artists, she’s about giving back. 7% of all proceeds from the store benefit five non-profit areas; Women’s Causes, Children’s Needs, Protecting Our Planet, Caring for Animals, and Health + Wellness.
I’m really excited to have the opportunity to spread the word about Moorea Seal. One of the best parts of being a blogger is shedding some light on and supporting creative people. I’m proud of her success and chosen a few favorites from her site for you guys to check out. Also, check out her blog.
