Happy first day of fall! Autumn is finally here, so you fall obsessed people can now freely indulge in all the pumpkin spice lattes and hat wearing you want. Even if it doesn’t feel very autumnal yet, with 80 degree weather and sunshine, the rain will be here soon and for once I’m ok with it. It’s been a long time since I could say this but I feel like I got the most out of my summer to the point where I’m actually welcoming fall. This post is inspired by all those golden fall afternoons, when the sun is shining but the brown and red leaves are rustling underfoot and the weather is crisp enough for a sweater and boots but you don’t need a coat just yet. It’s for evening meals with friends and glasses of red wine. It’s for apple picking, cider drinking, and decorating the house with some pumpkins, gaudy candlesticks, and autumn colored throw blankets.
