Today we have the main titles from Beetlejuice by Danny Elfman, our friend from Oingo Boingo and the quirky composer behind most Tim Burton movie scores. Interesting random fact, Danny Elfman is married to Bridget Fonda, famous for being the daughter of that hippie guy in Easy Rider, and as the main character in Single White Female. Dan and I watched Single White Female recently, and it’s a pretty creepy movie if you’re looking for a good/bad ’90s thriller. But, it’s nowhere near as good or as fun as Beetlejuice which sadly isn’t on Netflix.
Anyway the Beetlejuice soundtrack is obviously best consumed while actually watching Michael Keaton be insane, but the main titles are really fun and memorable, especially at around 1:45.
