Dan and I still have a few little pumpkins scattered throughout our apartment so I’ve been holding off on bombarding you guys with holiday related posts. I’m not ready. Was Halloween really two weeks ago? I’m surprised I haven’t run into a Salvation Army bell-ringing-Santa-Clause outside my grocery store. I say all this but lemme tell you, not bombarding you with holiday related posts has been pretty difficult. There’s a ton of holiday inspiration on my Pinterest and Tumblr dashboards, and it makes me wonder, as a blogger, when is an appropriate time to start talking about the holidays? Take this as a gentle warning that holiday posts are coming. And I guess I’m starting today with sequined pants…the twinkle is there to tell you that I have holiday cheer and I’m gonna spread it.
So we’re here with sequined pants. Over the years sequined pants have become more and more popular, finding their place in women’s closets and becoming a staple for holiday outfits. These glitzy beads adorn everything from leggings to trousers to track pants. All providing the shine you need to make any outfit instantly festive. Unlike more traditional holiday pieces that are specifically designed for winter weather, like ugly Christmas sweaters or anything in a fair isle print, you can wear sequin pants to other festive events throughout the year. Sequins look equally good dressed up or down, so take your sequined leggings or track pants and pair them with heels, booties, or comfy flats. My favorite look for the season is a pair of sequin track pants with sexy heeled sandals, and a slouchy soft tee. As someone who generally spends a lot of time near the food table a sequined pair of comfy track pants sound ideal.
