Happy Thanksgiving!
I can’t believe Thanksgiving is already here, I feel like it was just yesterday when Dan and I were scrambling to move into our new apartment and then a week later took our whirlwind trip to New Orleans. And yet, here we are. While 2014 has had its ups and downs there is a lot for me to be thankful for, one of the main things includes this blog. Style and Cheek has been growing, slowly but surely, and I am incredibly thankful for the chance to make Style and Cheek all that I’ve imagined, so a big thank you to those who believe in S&C – my loyal readers, my supporters, all of you. I love this site and all I want to do is make it better for you so thank you for giving me the chance to do just that. And thanks to those who keep this site running: Justin and Dan. And thank you to Jamie for sharing her beauty knowledge every week. You’re all awesome.
We’re headed to my parents house early to get the food ready with my Mom. Remember how we said we wanted a non-traditional Thanksgiving? Well…our menu consists of some kind of beef, mashed potatoes, green beans and shallots, a green salad with blue cheese, walnuts, and balsamic glazed onions, rolls, and pumpkin pie. That sounds pretty traditional to me except for the choice of meat. At least there will be wine! I may even try out one of the fancy Thanksgiving cocktails I used for this Pinterest Picks post a few weeks back. Yummy.
