I’m back with the Recreate The Look series. I have so much fun putting these together once a month and I hope you enjoy them as well. They aren’t going anywhere so expect them once a month. All of the posts have been centered on a Fashion Week look, and this month is no exception. The only difference this month is that this look comes from the Rachel Zoe Resort 2015 Collection that is more of a showcase/lookbook than your traditional catwalk show.
The looks were very boho 70’s inspired, which rings true to Zoe’s personal style. I’m mentally preparing an image of Rachel Zoe in bell bottoms, chunky shoes, bell sleeved blouse and long blonde hair. The makeup that accompanied this lookbook seemed like a page out of Zoe’s personal look. I’m sensing a trend here. Of all her collections this one seemed pretty true to life and right out of her own closet.
I love a good smoky eye look and this one is no exception. It’s a very easy look to recreate and there isn’t much to it. Less is more, am I right?!
This look starts off with a great base. Contouring, highlighting and a soft focus finish from Charlotte Tilbury help to set the stage. Add some Chanel Cream Blush in Chamade to your cheeks before starting on your eyes.
Recently I started getting into and lusting after the Tom Ford Beauty products. This eye look can be recreated with the Tom Ford Eye Quad in Ice Queen. Now, depending on the level of smolder you want depends on how many colors in the quad you use. I prefer something extra deep so I use all four. Focus the lighter shades on your lid, inner corner and brow bone. Blend the darker shades into your crease and outer corner of the eye.
Finish off with some coats of mascara or if you’re feeling extra sassy these dense lashes from Make Up For Ever.
