Is it me or did people start posting Valentine’s day inspiration on Pinterest really early this year? I felt like I was posting things early and still seemed late to the pink and red party. The end of January, and the end of football season, is about when I actually start thinking about Valentine’s day plans. We usually get a bunch of sunny days around this time so I start to think about what I can do to bring more life into the house. Flowers are the obvious choice but I’m one of those people who wishes they could fill the house with red and pink, even so far as pulling out Valentine’s colored furniture, throw pillows and accessories. This is why I love putting these Valentine’s day inspiration posts together (check out 2014 and 2013). It lifts the spirits!
Our Valentine’s day plans are usually pretty laid back. We might go out to dinner or stay in and cook to avoid a boring and expensive “set” menu. Call me nostalgic but I really miss my grade school days where we’d have parties and bring in candies and messages for everyone. Of course everyone wanted to know who had a crush on who during those times but now I look at it as a really cute way to say something nice to each of your peers. I wish I could throw a Valentine’s day party every year and just spread love to friends. If you are throwing a Valentine’s day party or want to decorate your house then these photos are sure to inspire. Enjoy! <3
