It seems just about everyone I’ve talked to lately is ready for a vacation. Just last week a friend was looking at tickets to Sydney just for the heck of it. People are itching to run off to warmer, sunnier destinations (preferably with a beach) and I’m right there with them. With the popularity of the banana palm print and an abundance of spring collections popping up on shopping sites, it’s no wonder that I’m dying to get out of gray Seattle.
But the straw that broke the camel’s back was For Love and Lemons “Pacific Getaway” Spring 2015 collection. It was all over once I saw this beautiful set of pieces and amazing photos. I’d like two tickets to Hawaii, please. A trip to the glorious tropics wouldn’t just satisfy my addiction to sunshine, oh no, it would be the perfect excuse to give into my need to expand my summer wardrobe. Yes, we’re still in winter and I probably won’t be wearing anything less than jeans and sweaters for a while, but a girl can dream, right? Spending time among palm trees, sipping some tropical flavored cocktails, and wearing extremely cute summertime pieces. Oh yes, a girl can definitely dream.

Jeff Divine Surf Photography | Classic Kicks – Love this shot taken by surf photographer Jeff Divine. A simple, beautiful shot of surfers among the lush greenery.
bon george spring 2015 | Calivintage – A simple, polka-dotted tank, slight bedhead, and retro inspired sunnies. This means sunshine is close by. Count me in!
Sotol Swizzle | Honestly Yum – If you can’t go somewhere, might as well bring the fun to you. This drink, which features sotol (an agave based spirit similar to tequila), pineapple syrup, lime, and Angostura bitters sounds incredibly refreshing and looks gorgeous.
Red Dress For Love and Lemons Pacific Getaway Spring 2015 – There were honestly too many favorites to choose from in this collection but this dress with that backdrop seemed like the perfect example of a romantic tropical getaway.
