How She’d Wear It with Style and Cheek – Polka Dots

By Tuesday, February 24, 2015 0 Permalink

We’re ending this month on a high note with dark polka dot prints that you can take into spring. Just because this is the last polka dot post of the month, that does not mean you should forget what you’ve learned about this print over the past few weeks. So what have we learned? Polka dots work in any wardrobe, mixing your polka dot prints is always a really fun option, and polka dots can be as classy or as playful as you want them to be. Keep these in mind and you can wear your polka dot prints year round.

How She'd Wear It with Style and Cheek - Polka Dots

1. J.Crew Oversize Boy Shirt In Polka Dot

2. Rag & Bone Holly Belt

3. Rebecca Minkoff Phoenix Stone Ring

4. Ringly Into The Woods Tech Ring in Emerald

5. ASOS PENDULUM Platform Shoes

6. Valley Eyewear Genuis Child Sunglasses

7. Le High Flare High-Rise Jeans

8. Lulu Frost *NEW* Cleo Stud

9. MANGO Leather Biker Jacket

10. Rebecca Minkoff Finn Cross Body Clutch

A button down is a great way to add polka dots to your wardrobe. It’s a shirt that will get a lot of use and can be worn many ways. At first I thought I’d go for skinny jeans and pumps paired with the dotted button down but came across these super cute flared jeans. With ’70s style being so hot right now, I went with it and added more flair (ha!) with platform pumps. Funky and chunky accessories make a big statement and a fringe bag adds even more ’70s rock ‘n roll fun.

2. J.Crew Minimalist Cord Necklace

3. J.Crew Spring Bloom Bracelet

4. J.Crew Downing Bucket Bag

5. ASOS Handmade Acetate Chunky Retro Sunglasses

6. MANGO Neoprene-Effect Polka-Dot Dress

7. J.Crew Swing Trench Coat

8. Splendid Seaside Slip On Sneakers

We’re less than a month away from spring so it’s time to get your wardrobe ready for spring showers and flowers. Basically that means you need to be ready to strip off some layers if the weather permits. We have an incredibly cute polka-dot dress with simple slip-ons and a much needed trench coat. Yellow is insanely popular for spring so why not add it to your wardrobe in the form of a rain coat? All you need are some fun accessories (I love the spring bloom bracelet) and a travel worthy bucket bag.
