It feels like Dan and I have been to the mall at least twenty times in the past month and every time we walk into Nordstrom I’m immediately drawn to the mannequins wearing Diane von Furstenburg’s spring collection. Without fail I stop and gawk. DVF is like catnip. Black and white gingham and bright green lace all lined up for a passerby to drool over. And drool over I have. I even had a dream recently where I was part of House of DVF trying to be a brand ambassador and Diane told me to be more confident. You know, If I could spend my days wearing your designs, Diane I might just work it.
In my post about Diane von Furstenberg wrap dresses I talk about how DVF is on my “designer must have” list and I stand by that. Her creations flatter the body, are well crafted, and perfectly ladylike. From lush green to a punchy orange, Diane von Furstenberg gets us ready for spring with her latest styles. Though we have a few wrap dresses featured on this post today, I wanted to show you what DVF does beyond the wrap, including a gorgeous black lace blouse, bright garden print flared skirt, a gorgeous abstract print woven dress, and a work appropriate fitted shift dress. Wrap dress, shift dress, I’ll take one of each. Raise your hand if you agree that she killed it with that gingham print wrap dress. I normally think gingham prints are too playful to be sexy but this is one seriously sexy dress.
Diane von Furstenberg ‘Riviera’ Gingham Print Silk Wrap Dress – There’s also a straight up gingham version if you’re loving the gingham look.
