How She’d Wear It with Style and Cheek – Daytime Safari Style

I’ve shown you an overview of glam safari and safari style accessories, now it’s time to insert this style into your everyday wardrobe. It’s easy! Just buy a bunch of khaki and olive green pieces and wear all of them at once. No, just kidding, I don’t suggest doing that but I do suggest looking back at my first glam safari post to see the full range of interchangeable safari themed pieces.

The best thing about safari style is that it is easy to style and even easier to wear, because it’s a trend that focuses on very specific colors, relaxed fabrics, and geometric or natural pieces of jewelry. But if you don’t want to look like you’re actually looking out for lions, add a pop of color, like an orange blouse with your green and brown pieces, or stack on the funky jewelry. The point is to take an otherwise relaxed style and elevate it.

How She'd Wear It with Style and Cheek - Daytime Safari Style

1. J.Crew Linen V-Neck Pocket Tee In Metallic

2. MADEWELL Band Ring

3. MADEWELL Doubletime Ring

4. MADEWELL The Thea Sandal in Colorblock Nubuck

5. J.Crew Wood Tassel Earrings

6. H&M Lyocell Pants

7. Oliver Peoples Eyewear L.A. Coen Sunglasses

8. J.Crew Bar Cuff Bracelet

9. Rebecca Minkoff ‘Fringe Mini MAC’ Convertible Crossbody Bag

The easiest outfit you can put together but with a metallic twist. We all know that wearing some fancy sweatpants and a t-shirt isn’t a unique combination, but this outfit, with its safari style tones, is about the details. Two-tone flats match the drawstring on the sweatpants while the metal bar ring is similar to the bar cuff. You’ve got a metallic t-shirt, cool shades and a fringe bag, you are ready for a day of people watching on the Santa Monica pier.

1. Zara Long-Sleeve Top

2. Prima Clutch from Moorea Seal

3. Sienna Sunglasses from Moorea Seal

4. J.Crew Bonded Twill Short

5. Zara Leather Gladiator Sandals

6. BaubleBar Gold Tassel Pendant

7. J.Crew Wood Abacus Bracelet

A slightly dressier option that could even go from day-to-night depending on how casual your plans are, this silky orange blouse and heavy bonded twill shorts is a crazy-fun and flirty combination. The gladiator sandals are perfect for walking around during the daytime and the clutch is simple, but chic. Add some funky glasses and gold jewelry and you’re good to go watch a concert in the park. Or hit up an outdoor mall for some sunshine and shopping.
