I’ve shown you an overview of glam safari and safari style accessories, now it’s time to insert this style into your everyday wardrobe. It’s easy! Just buy a bunch of khaki and olive green pieces and wear all of them at once. No, just kidding, I don’t suggest doing that but I do suggest looking back at my first glam safari post to see the full range of interchangeable safari themed pieces.
The best thing about safari style is that it is easy to style and even easier to wear, because it’s a trend that focuses on very specific colors, relaxed fabrics, and geometric or natural pieces of jewelry. But if you don’t want to look like you’re actually looking out for lions, add a pop of color, like an orange blouse with your green and brown pieces, or stack on the funky jewelry. The point is to take an otherwise relaxed style and elevate it.
The easiest outfit you can put together but with a metallic twist. We all know that wearing some fancy sweatpants and a t-shirt isn’t a unique combination, but this outfit, with its safari style tones, is about the details. Two-tone flats match the drawstring on the sweatpants while the metal bar ring is similar to the bar cuff. You’ve got a metallic t-shirt, cool shades and a fringe bag, you are ready for a day of people watching on the Santa Monica pier.
A slightly dressier option that could even go from day-to-night depending on how casual your plans are, this silky orange blouse and heavy bonded twill shorts is a crazy-fun and flirty combination. The gladiator sandals are perfect for walking around during the daytime and the clutch is simple, but chic. Add some funky glasses and gold jewelry and you’re good to go watch a concert in the park. Or hit up an outdoor mall for some sunshine and shopping.
