Going off of yesterday’s outfit post I thought I’d show you some other flared floral skirt options that would look great with cropped sweaters. Or cropped tops that provide the right shape for a flared skirt. It’s a simple but perfect combination that shows off the right amount of leg and can be just as at home out on a date as it is in the office. And that’s an important criteria for filling out any closet – if I go to work in this outfit will I look too businessy if I go right on out to a swanky restaurant or bar? Or, to think about it another way, will this skirt work just as well with heels as it does with flats? If the answers are ‘no’ and then ‘yes’ to those two questions you’ve found yourself a staple piece.
A huge part of meeting that standard today is picking the right print. I’ve gone with a lot of playful prints here today but nothing too bright or crazy. We’ve got a lot of floral and some palm inspired prints. I’m so into palm prints right now that if Dan started wearing Tommy Bahama I might actually be into it. Ok, maybe not but the point is these prints are cute and bold but still ladylike and functional. Which one of these printed flared skirts is your favorite?
Anthropologie Birds Of Paradise Neoprene Skirt – I love that this skirt features a sweet blush color with an insane(ly beautiful) print.
Anthropologie Rosebud Silhouette Skirt – Perfectly pleated and flounced just the right amount, this rosebud silhouette skirt is the right neutral to take you into spring and summer.
Zara Mini Skirt with Flounce – Fun print, fun skirt. The short length makes this one the easiest to keep casual, but you can still dress it up if you need to.
Ted Baker London ‘Rose Maari’ A-Line Skirt – This skirt features a gorgeous rose print and would be absolutely stunning choice at a wedding or garden party.
Ted Baker London ‘Palm Flora’ A-Line Skirt – Give me all the palm prints, even the dark moody ones like this one. It’s sexy and ladylike all at once.
Sister Jane ‘New Bloom’ Pleated Skirt – This skirt is so flouncy and fun. A versatile dark skirt with just enough personality to make a statement.
