Y’all know that I love me some J.Crew and their recent new arrivals are no exception. I was straight up drooling over some of these pieces, wishing I could justify springing for an entire new wardrobe just for spring and summer. You know when you see something that you know would look perfect and you’re searching for ways to justify a little spend sesh. Well, how about a sale? Does a sale do it for you? Between the items on sale and the slew of ridiculously cute new pieces, it might be time for a little weekend shopping spree. No seriously, my spring/summer wardrobe is teeny tiny, can I just buy some things?
J.Crew’s new arrivals are so beautiful I had to share them with you for Fancy Friday. Tropical florals and eyelet pieces seem to be the focus but there is an embroidered piece or two, and a few leather items. But floral prints of the tropical variety dominated this selection, which is quite fine by me because I’m absolutely into the tropical print trend for spring and summer. I’m not digging the boxy silhouettes that J.Crew sometimes falls back on, but I’ve tried to shop elsewhere, try different brands, and I find myself coming back to J.Crew because I know I can find quality products that flatter my figure. So I’m just gonna keep drooling over that tropical floral print dress while all of you check out their new arrivals.
J.Crew Linen Zip-Front Dress in Gold Foil Leaf – It’s an incredibly flattering cut, it has pockets, the print is gorgeous, and it has gold foil-leaf. I want this dress in my closet immediately so I can wear it to death through spring and summer.
J.Crew Space-Dyed Italian Cotton Sweater – A sweater? Yes a sweater because I bet you will likely go out on a warm evening and think wow, I wish I’d worn a sweater. Plus, this sweater is fancy. It shimmers.
J.Crew Crossover Wrap Skirt – This wrap skirt will undoubtedly be the go-to skirt for spring and summer. And while I love this bright citrus color, the skirt actually comes in a bunch of other colors including a really pretty light blue.
J.Crew Cropped Silk Popover in Tropical Fern – This print is gorgeous. So freaking gorgeous. And the shirt will go wonderfully with all the high waist styles that are in right now. New vacation outfit? Yes, please.
J.Crew Zigzag Ikat Short – I’ve always found shorts to be problematic, especially jean shorts. But for some reason, printed cotton shorts end up being the most flattering and thank god because I adore this zigzag ikat print.
J.Crew Striped Eyelet Dress – Wedding? Garden party? Date night? I’d find reasons to wear this dress. The eyelet design is unique and that tropical forest green is so rich.
