Palm prints are the one summer trend everyone should try! They just know their place, and that’s with sandals, shades, and sunshine. So while you’re out and about shopping for your summertime wardrobe, I hope you dabble in some green leafy prints because they’re perfect for this time of year. Also because they’re insanely fun and beautiful. If you’re scared that springing for a palm print piece is a bad investment because come fall it will be shelved along with all its summertime memories, then I suggest hitting up H&M because they are blooming with affordable palm prints. No need to drop serious dough if you’re just looking to experiment.
And since we’re experimenting, how about adding a palm print to your date night attire? Palm prints, especially the ones below, are super fun and flirty. They have that, “come play” element to them which you know is perfect for a date outfit. I’ve featured two outfits below, one more casual and the other in need of seeing and being seen. But in both looks the easy beachy glamour of the palm print elevates a pretty standard piece into a beautiful focal point.

This might be the easiest way to incorporate palm prints into your wardrobe, by pairing them with a white tee or blouse. I particularly like the sexy flirty draped nature of this skirt, it makes for a likely date night choice but can be as casual as you’d like it to be. This outfit has a very laid-back vibe because when the weather gets hot we’re going to want to be comfortable, especially on a date. The gladiator sandals and choker are trendy and subtly sexy choices and the leather pouch and mirror sunnies keep it cool.

I went bold on this one. It’s time to go big or go home because there’s no better time to experiment with color and prints than summer. While you could subdue the palm print dress with neutral pieces, I went for bright! We have a seriously stunning citrine bag and equally bold red and coral earrings. Why? Because a print like this, which is used to being surrounded by bright tropical flowers in real life, can easily stand up to these pairings. At first you think, really? This isn’t too bright? But trust me, it works. Then it’s just a matter of bringing it all together with the right finishes. Mirrored sunglasses that match the dress and simple gold heels. I love the ankle strap on heels oh so much.
