The one thing I like about this series is bringing the different runway looks to the everyday lady. I’ve featured a natural look here before but this look recreated from the Anthony Vaccarello Spring 2015 show takes the cake as the most natural look ever. This look is inspired by the “pool babe that sat around all day tanning in the sun, with slightly runny mascara and minimal makeup, but not-trying-too-hard look” we all know and love.
It’s almost like you slept in your makeup and threw on your Sunday best sunnies look. I know I’ve said time and time again that we should always wash our faces each night and never leave the second day makeup to chance but…this is maybeeeee that one time where you can stretch the rules. Or at least learn how to recreate the look. The only thing I advise against is the black painted ears. Go for it if you must but let’s just say you’re not going to be getting the attention you want.
So you might be thinking this natural look probably takes more than a few products. After all this look was used in a Paris Fashion Week show so it can’t likely be dull and boring. You might be surprised to know it only takes 4 products. Yes, 4 simple products you might already have on hand. And if you don’t then you’re in luck, as always, because I will show you exactly what you need.
For this look we are skipping foundation. GASP! I can’t believe it either but foundation isn’t necessary. Add if you must but avoid for the best lived in look. Instead reach for the Lancôme Le Duo Contour and Highlighter Stick. Contour your cheek bones, add a bit to the crease of your eye and blend with your fingers. Add some highlighter to your cheekbones, brow bone and inner corner of your eyes.
Next let’s finish off the complexion with some blush on the cheeks. Go for a nude, pale, pastel type shade for a slight hint of color. Remember, we want natural and not overdone. Apply 2-3 coats of mascara, Lancôme Définicils is best for this as the wand is small and won’t overcoat your lashes, and smudge lightly. This will help recreate that smudgy lived in look we want. Finish off with a light coat of clear gloss on the lips and you’re good to go.
