You know what is so great about Father’s Day? It’s so much more chill than Mother’s Day. There’s usually less formal planning, just a casual family get together with some food and some drinks and some relaxing around Dad and probably the grill. Yes, you could do something a little more Dad-ish like go to a baseball game, play golf, or watch golf (watching golf sounds really boring to me but Dan insists people actually do this on Father’s Day)…ooh or you could go see a movie. Jurassic World, anyone? Of course it all depends on your Dad’s tastes, but Father’s Day to BBQs is like Mother’s Day to brunch.

We’re going to assume that most of you are going to be grilling with Dad on Father’s Day. If you’re going the burger route, I suggest you check out my burger post because this post will mostly focus on other options for a Father’s Day grill-a-thon. I’ve added a few less obvious choices, like a good kebab recipe that uses cheese and bread to give Dad some variety. Technically, you could grill some chicken or boring ol’ hot-dogs, but if you fancy giving Dad a more creative BBQ experience, check out these recipes.
