How She’d Wear It with Style and Cheek – Festival Rompers

If you go to a festival this summer you’re bound to see a whole slew of festival goers in rompers. While it’s not the smartest choice when it comes to bathroom experience, wearing a one piece is convenient because you don’t really have to think about your outfit. If your romper is super cute you really only need sandals and a bag and you’re done. But that’s not what we do on HSWI. We show you how to style the whole ensemble with accessories, and festival rompers are no exception. They should be styled to the nines too. Today we have a boho chic look and an It girl look that’s super trendy right now. Style your romper as you like but if you’re going to a concert, festival, parade, or some other summer event, keep the heels at home. We want low-key but still on point fashion.

How She'd Wear It with Style and Cheek - Festival Rompers

1. BaubleBar Amazon Medallion Bib

2. J.Crew Diamond Rope Bracelet

3. J.Crew Braided Leather Cuff Bracelet

4. Rebecca Minkoff Fiona Fringed Bucket Bag

5. Le Specs Nakey Eyes Sunglasses

6. H&M Patterned Playsuit

7. Schutz Billa Suede Gladiator Sandals

This romper outfit is focused on the modern boho vibe. We have the exciting print, a lot of fringe, and a big, intricate bib necklace. Pair it with modern sunnies and bracelets and you’re taking this look out from the desert to downtown, while keeping the look and pieces very natural. I love the idea of turning more casual Southwestern feeling fabrics and patterns into chic urban wear, you’ll always stand out in a crowd but never look you’re trying too hard.

1. Tom Ford Rick Aviator Sunglasses

2. TOPSHOP MOTO Oversized Denim Shirt

3. House Of Harlow 1960 Acute Cuff Bracelet

4. Samantha Wills Bohemian Bardot Ring Midnight Blue

5. H&M Small Bucket Bag

6. Rachel Zoe Sophia Dipped Pave Claw Stud Earrings

7. Topshop Wide Brim Fedora

8. H&M Playsuit With Lace

9. Dolce Vita Jaeger Booties

I’ve always felt that rompers tend to look über feminine, sometimes even nymphish, but this outfit totally blows that notion away by proving that rompers can be edgy too. This outfit is inspired by festival wear, from the hat right down to the booties. It’s that sturdy summer look that lets you shade your face from the sun, wear comfortable closed toed shoes (to take in account muddy surroundings), and provides light layering in the form of a dark rinse denim shirt that can be wrapped around the waist. While not totally necessary depending on your chosen adventure, I added a few pieces of jewelry for more sparkle and attitude, dipped pave claw earrings, a chunky ring, and a crystal studded spike bracelet.
