Stella & Dot’s Versatility Shop Lives up to Its Name

Recently I was asked if I was interested in reviewing a product from Stella & Dot to which I said “of course!” I follow a few Stella & Dot stylists on Instagram and really enjoy their candor but I’ve hadn’t yet treated myself to any of their products. Well, now that I’ve had some hands-on experience with S&D’s jewelry, I’ll be treating myself to more of their goodies in the future. Their pieces are just as pretty in person as they are online, and I think this pendant would be a great addition to my jewelry box.

But back to the review! I chose the Fortuna Stone Drop Pendant Necklace, from the Versatility Shop, which is a versatile 3 in 1 piece. It comes in two flavors, either silver with an aqua green quartz, or gold with a clear semi precious quartz stone backed with mother of pearl. I went for gold because I loved the look of the clear quartz stone. The smaller pendant is 20″ long and the larger pendant is 28″ and a little detail I really liked is that they have different chain styles. My only (small) complaint is that the shorter pendant necklace has a delicate chain that will occasionally kink, especially when you first put it on, so you have to be careful to untangle it. Otherwise the pieces, together and separate are really lovely.

The design on the pendant is a modern take on a vintage-y feeling design, which is pretty unique and was one of the big selling points for me. Plus, the versatility makes this piece, and others like it, a really attractive purchase. Instead of just taking photos of the whole piece by itself, I wanted to show you how each version of this necklace can stand on its own. Below you’ll find some looks I’ve put together showcasing the Fortuna Pendant Necklace, and I hope you enjoy them. If you have any questions about this piece or my experience with Stella & Dot feel free to leave a comment. :)

I was gifted this necklace by Stella & Dot in exchange for a review. As always, the opinions shared are my own.

I thought about pairing the smaller pendant with a button down but I really wanted the necklace to sing. A cropped crew neck sweater did the trick. It’s simple but still makes a statement.

Usually people would choose to wear the smaller pendant with a deep v-neck top like this one but I wanted to go for a boho vibe with the longer quartz pendant.

Altogether now! I love the look of these two pendants together, from the similar shapes of each pendant to the different chains. While I really like adding this piece to a fun dress like this floral number, I could see myself wearing these necklaces all the time, just over plain tissue thin shirts, or even a white tee.
