When Farfetch asked if I wanted to be part of their Halloween themed competition to create a look featuring a piece from the Fendi Monster collection, I was excited. I love a good challenge and figured this competition would be extremely fun because I’d get to play with the beautiful designer pieces from Farfetch’s site. Of course my favorite Fendi monster piece is the cutest one, the pink Fendi micro “Baguette” Bad Bugs crossbody bag with its furry eyes and red fluffy eyebrows. I love it. It’s like carrying around a tiny monster with you. Adorable. I mean…sooo spooky…it’s supposed to be scary and monstrous right? And I’m over here calling it cute. :)
But for the outfit itself, I thought about going the downtown urban route with a pair of their ‘Bag Bugs’ sneakers, but I wanted to style it how I’d wear it myself, with rock-n-roll princess vibes. Plus, Halloween is just round the corner so I had to go for some witchy goodness with those gorgeous black pieces. It’s a little Madison Montgomery from American Horror Story: Coven, but better. Black and white and ruffles and leather and lace, oh my! Basically I went all out and why not? It’s the witching season. Time for all the monsters to come out, especially the Fendi monsters.
What do you think of how I styled the Fendi Monster? Please leave a comment and let me know or tell me how you’d style a Fendi Monster piece of your own. And thank you to Farfetch for giving me the opportunity to be part of this style challenge. xo.
