I promised in my November newsletter to discuss cozy loungewear, so here you go. But to be completely honest, loungewear is only on my brain because I’m having a pajama crisis. My two pairs of pj pants (yes, I only own two) ripped! Right in the booty. Have I still been wearing pajama pants with monster holes in their backsides? Why yes, because it’s November and it’s a necessity to get all cozy and cuddle up in my comfy clothes and I have no other options. Sad face. So coincidentally I happen to need loungewear, but as I said, ’tis the season for loungewear! Plus, you all should definitely get a jump start on your holiday wishlists.
My parents have a tradition of giving all of us some kind of loungewear, either pjs, a robe, even socks for Christmas. Hell, even a wine mug, which sounds about right for my family. Bottom line little homies, cold and snow are coming, so it’s time to start lounging…in loungewear.
As I put together this collage I didn’t know if I wanted to focus just on sleepwear. But really there is no point in separating pjs from sweats. My sleepwear pretty much is my loungewear. Victoria’s Secret pajama set shirts in particular make really great lounge pieces, and I’ve definitely even worn them in public because they’re so comfortable. Consider those a definite yes on my wishlist this year (since mine are in tatters). Henleys and all super soft shirts are game, as well as cute socks and cushioned slippers, but the star of this set is the “Food is my only friend” sweater. It’s hilarious and fits so well with the chillaxin’ in loungewear state of mind. All you need is that sweater, some snacks, and no pants. Paaaaaaaartay!
