This is the last week of cozy sweaters and chunky knits, but that doesn’t mean you can’t break out your favorite sweaters anytime. In fact, I’m ending this month with two very versatile outfits that can be worn a few ways depending on the weather, by adding boots instead of flats, or jeans instead of joggers. It’s time to see beyond the outfit as a whole and pivot with the main components.
These looks are jumping off points for your own wardrobe inspiration. So instead of finding the exact same blue sweater as the inspiration

2. Lucy Williams X Missoma Tiny Horn Necklace
4. J.Crew Collection Sloan Calf Hair D’orsay Flats
5. Sam Edelman 3 Stack Midi Ring Set

It’s time to take our tried and true cozy sweaters out on the town for a little playtime. To dress things up a bit, pair your sweater with a super cute mini. It’s a simple but really great combo that leaves a ton of options for accessories. You could wear booties or over the knee boots with this but I went with leopard flats, a classic choice that can be worn year round (just add tights in cold weather). You’ll need a cute little black bag, simple gold jewelry, and a little attitude on your nails. While I went the neutral route for this outfit, the blue sweater with blue polish is seriously cute. All this outfit needs is a trench, peacoat, or car coat and you’re set.
1. Elizabeth And James Chrystie Glasses

I took a little creative liberty with this inspiration photo and decided to make this look full athleisure. I love a good sweater plus button down plus jeans combo but we’ve seen it. I wanted a look that straddles loungewear and daywear, which is also a perfect traveling outfit (hint-hint to those who want to be comfy and look cute at the airport). I think the best way to do athleisure is to stick with neutrals or a similar palette throughout the outfit. We have a gray sweater, neutral button down, and black track pants so everything else is in cool tones. A pair of cute blue sneakers, black satchel, silver jewelry complete the look. But remember, going leisure doesn’t mean your accessories can’t be stunning, but definitely keep it simple.
