How She’d Wear It with Style and Cheek – Motorcycle Boots

By Tuesday, January 26, 2016 0 Permalink

Well that month went quick! I can’t believe we’re already on our last winter footwear post of January. We’ve covered all the winter boots including duck boots, over the knee boots, ankle boots, and today we’re talkin’ motorcycle boots. What is a more quintessential boot for gross weather than the motorcycle boot? Aside from the duck boots, they’re probably your most comfortable winter shoe because they don’t require a high heel to look cute. Their casual vibe is what makes these boots so great. You just slip them on and go. Ok, maybe they’re not quite that easy, which is why I’ve put together two looks to show you how you can wear motorcycle boots this season and beyond. First, we’re going super casual badass, and then a bit dressier and ladylike for daytime. Stay warm this winter and stay cute with looks inspired from these outfits featuring motorcycle boots.

1. TOPSHOP Slim Pocket Coat

2. Kenneth Cole New York Tone Chain Link Necklace

3. J.Crew Collection Cashmere Long-Sleeve T-Shirt

4. Daniel Wellington ‘Classy Sheffield’ Crystal Index Leather Strap Watch, 26mm

5. BaubleBar Ice Alpha Studs

6. Frye Engineer 8R Boot

7. Dondup Distressed Skinny Jeans

8. Madewell Mini Transport Tote

What’s more stylish for winter inspiration than a look from Sundance? Here we have a photo of Rachel McAdams from a few years ago with an outfit that is still relevant today, especially that camel coat. While I’d go the delicate route necklace wise, she went with a statement chain link necklace for more oomph. I like the mix of ladylike pieces with the rough motorcycle boots and distressed jeans. We can’t tell if Rachel is wearing other accessories but I added a smart looking watch and monogrammed stud earrings for a little more detail. This is one of the best example of motorcycle boots being on the opposite end of the spectrum from edgy.

1. Ray-Ban Original Aviator Sunglasses

2. MADEWELL Ultimate Leather Motorcycle Jacket

3. The North Face EMB Logo Pullover Hoodie

4. Athleta Women Take The Heat Top

5. Frame Denim Le Skinny de Jeanne Mid-Rise Jeans

6. Freda Salvador Cuff Booties

7. Sole Society ‘Kelley’ Faux Leather Satchel

This is probably my favorite Kendall Jenner outfit because it’s so regular and yet really cute. I have to admit, I had the toughest time trying to find a SIMPLE gray pullover hoodie. Why is it so hard to find one without things on it? Anyway, if you have a simple hoodie and a leather jacket you’re more than halfway there. Just add black jeans, motorcycle boots (heeled or not), and a form-fitting black shirt underneath. Take the casual outfit up a notch with a sexy satchel and aviators. Then take your fine behind to the movies, or to the grocery store for some ice cream. Nom.
