butter LONDON Sheer Wisdom Nail Tinted Moisturizer Giveaway with Style and Cheek

Technically this is a giveaway AND a review of butter LONDON‘s innovative and new product, their Sheer Wisdom Nail Tinted Moisturizer but the fact that I’m doing a giveaway, (of my own volition mind you, this isn’t sponsored) means that I must really like this product. And to be super up front with you and give you insight into my world, I haven’t used another polish since I got this. Normally I jump from color to color but I’ve been living in this polish, taking it off and putting it right back on.

But let me back up! When butter LONDON released this product I tweeted out my curiosity about a nail polish that doubles as a moisturizer. I found the idea totally bizarre and I judged it. I just didn’t get it, as I didn’t really like nude polish. But as luck would have it, a fellow blogger friend Melissa tweeted back and asked if I was going to review the polish on the blog. The thought hadn’t even crossed my mind. She said she loved product reviews and suddenly I was on board. It wasn’t until I tried the product and fell in love with it that my review became a giveaway. Consider it a belated birthday gift from me to you as we close out February (my birthday month).

At first I have to admit I was really scared to try this moisturizer. I’ve never loved the way my nails look naturally because I’ve never thought nude nails are a great look. So when nude and barely there nail looks became a popular runway look I was like eh, I’ll just stick to black. On the flip side, I’m also super lazy! Doing my nails myself is a chore and the result isn’t always pretty (I always wake up with bedsheet impressions on my nails) and getting my nails done is not in my budget right now.

This is why this moisturizer has me starry-eyed. It’s so easy to use! To be honest I have no idea if it’s “moisturizing” but I’ve also not given my nails time to breathe since I started using it because I’m a little obsessed. My sour opinion of nude nails has totally changed because of this product. And thank god because now I can have nice nails without too much work.

So here’s what I love about this moisturizer…

First of all, it dries super quick. It’s not streaky (unless you’re applying it to your friend Sarah’s nails while drunk and haven’t done someone’s nails in years). The color matches your natural nail color very nicely. It doesn’t chip easily. It lasts a long time. It’s very easy to apply. And it gives your nails a nice sheen which will result in your friends wondering what you’re wearing to make your nails look so good. Yaas!
