Some of you may recognize the In God We Trust Sweet Nothings collection from last year’s Cheeky Jewelry post where I collected some wonderful pieces that were chop full of ‘tude. A few In God We Trust’s necklaces were included on that list, including the “Bitch, Please” necklace that inspired this post. I’ve had multiple people ask me where I got mine and I’m more than happy to show you. I love In God We Trust’s pieces. They’re hilarious, cheeky, bitchy, powerful. Who knew a heart necklace could be so much more than a cute little heart.
For my birthday Dan surprised me with said “Bitch, Please” necklace. Being the sweet and supportive boyfriend he is, he figured I would appreciate a little gift with some attitude, which I do. I always thought heart necklaces were too cutesy for me but this one has become one of my favorite pieces to wear.
The words are kind of a hidden message, where you can only see what the necklace says if you’re standing close. It’s like you’re walking around with a cheeky secret. So when my hairstylist asked, “does that really say Bitch, Please,” I laughed out loud. I didn’t know if anyone would be paying attention, but she loved it and told the other stylists about it. Then last Sunday I went to a blogger tea party and had multiple people ask where I got it. People really seem to love it, and I love it because I feel it gives me power and attitude. Plus it’s great seeing how people react to a little unexpected sass.
Not all of In God We Trust’s pieces are as inappropriate. Some are just funny, like their “NOPE” necklace. Or one I didn’t include but still think is cute, “I woke up like this“. Their preset collection comes in brass but if you customize your own you can choose from brass, silver, or gold. Each piece is priced respectively based on material, and it only costs $20 to engrave the necklace with whatever NSFW writing you’d like. The necklace itself is pretty small and delicate so keep your phrase short and sweet.
