When For Love and Lemons puts out a new lookbook I get excited. I wrote about their new swim collection fairly recently, but when I saw For Love and Lemons Reverie Lookbook I knew I had to share it. These photos are gorgeous. I mean, the clothes are gorgeous as well, but the beautiful composition of this lookbook is magical. I thought I had shared a few more of their collections on the blog, but looking back that isn’t the case. So maybe you guys don’t realize how much love I have for For Love and Lemons. I’m mad girl crushing on their styling. This lookbook is a fantasy world come to life, a place where there is always beautiful afternoon light and a sexy sheer, provocative dress to lounge around in. The dream For Love and Lemons has created in this lookbook is a perfectly lazy summer day.
Like their previous collections, sheer, lace, and crochet are major players in their summer line, colored with dusty rose, white, pale pink, orange sherbet, and the occasional pop of green. Playful, innocent, and slightly risqué. Their sheer maxi dresses are always gorgeous but this particular floral piece with the green leaves is so vibrant and beautiful. The dresses are so flirty and fun, with super short hems, and sheer details.
The collection is made even better with a killer pair of velvet ankle strap platforms and a velvet ribbon tied around the neck. Which as you’re aware, is probably my favorite accessory. Make anything more suggestive by tying a ribbon around your neck. This collection is new so the pieces aren’t all available but I’ll be updating this post once they’re for sale. But for now, I’ll drool over these pretty little things and imagine them gracing my closet with their presence. Especially that white crochet number, omfg.
