Getting sick of the dark nail polish colors? Are the navy’s, red’s, and deep plum’s a little too goth for your summer wardrobe? It’s time to switch it up with some cool summer colors that are perfect for the beach getaway you’re planning. This year it’s all about the pastels and muted colors versus the electric, bright colors of last year. I’m still rocking a hot pink on my toes but after finding these colors I am quickly about to change it up. We are all in desperate need of a sandal situation so get your toes ready and grab a few new summer colors.
Deborah Lippmann Dusty Orchid – A great dusty blue if you’re a fan of dark navy and blue polishes. Pack away the dark shades in favor of this light pastel blue for summer.
Dior Vernis Gel Shine Icognito – If you’re a pink polish fan, this color is for you. It has a subtle hint of pink but the color is still on the nude side. Great for any occassion and any outfit.
OPI I’m Gown For Anything – I love a good lilac polish. This color from OPI isn’t too pink or too blue. It’s soft and gentle for every skin tone. Plus you know you’re always going to get a fun named polish in a bottle with OPI.
Sinful Colors White – White polish can be a hard color to pull off but I think everyone needs to give it a try. Especially post vacation when you’re gained a bit of color, or after you’ve self tanned to get that perfect summer glow. It just seems to POP and look great against the skin.
Sinful Colors Kylie Kreme de la Kreme – Don’t forget the rose gold polish this summer. Ashley Tisdale’s rose gold hair started off the summer. If you’re not about to color your hair then opt for some rose gold on your nails. It will be the perfect companion to those rose gold jewelry pieces you’ll be wearing.
Essie Blossom Dandy – It wouldn’t be summer without the mint. This is such a classic color that never gets old and comes back year after year. This shade from Essie is an icy mint shade that’s a bit more blue than the traditional mint tones.
Formula X Powerful – A nail strengthener with color. Treat your nails from cracks, damage ,and breakage all while looking great. I recently purchased this color from Formula X to see if it lived up to the hype and it truly does work. Plus the color is great and can work for anyone.
Julep Nayley – It’s only been recently that I’ve been drawn to more orange hued colors. This color is almost reminiscent of a creamsicle!
Butter London Trout Pout – First off, I love the name of this polish and that may have been a push to put it in the post. Aside from the name it’s a great color. If you need a bit more color and don’t want to go the pastel shade route, then Trout Pout is for you.
