We’re ending this month on a sultry note, pairing bodysuits with skirts. Initially I thought I’d pair a bodysuit with a button down mini or denim skirt and have a couple daytime outfits since those are popular skirt choices right now. But that’s easy, I’m sure you can figure out how to pair your minis with a bodysuit for a casual daytime outfit. Get a pair of cute sneakers, Adidas, Converse, or go the lace up sandal route. Easy.
Instead I went for softer, sexier bodysuit getups. Show you how to work that lacy bodysuit you’ve been eyeing. That lingerie style suit. A pencil skirt will be your best friend for that style of bodysuit. But another great skirt to experiment with is the midi skirt. Since a midi skirt is a more modest choice and can be difficult to style on its own without looking frumpy, a bodysuit is excellent because it balances the skirt and there’s no extra, fussy fabric. So here we are with two equally stylish ways to wear bodysuits and skirts.
One of the best combinations for a super sexy night-time bodysuit is with a pencil skirt. It’s a very after hours look, and the equivalent pairing to a silky camisole under a blazer with a pencil skirt. But this is definitely not for work, it just has that bombshell, boss lady vibe. Cocktails, date night, however you want to use this sexy number as long as it is fully enjoyed in the nighttime hours. Add a simple but interesting gold necklace, chandelier earrings, and a sequined clutch. Va va voom.
This is a great daytime or nighttime summer outfit. The low-cut, sultry bodysuit is nicely contrasted with the pleated midi skirt and chunky sandals. The belt does a good job of adding a rustic element to the feminine pleated skirt and soft neutral and pink tones. Unusual jewelry makes the outfit, namely a colorful, nature inspired cuff, and a fun gold necklace.
