Today I’m beyond excited to talk about Fresh, one of my all time favorite skincare brands. It’s funny because until recently, when my friend Jenn of Hello Rigby invited me to a Burberry Beauty and Fresh event, I hadn’t tried that many of their products but I knew I loved them from the few I had tried. Especially the brown sugar body polish which is ah-mazing. Fresh has always been an aspirational brand for me but now that I’ve tried more of their products, I feel like I can’t live without them. My skin knew all along that Fresh was worth it. And I’m here to gush about my favorite products to you because they’re so perfect and you need to hear why.
Maybe it’s Fresh’s use of natural ingredients or maybe it’s that I have a hard time finding skincare products my sensitive skin can handle. But I’ve loved every single Fresh product I’ve encountered, even ones I’ve been initially skeptical about because I just don’t do that type of product, like creams, eye gels, or cleansing oils. I was even skeptical about the soy cleanser before I started using it. I come at skincare with hesitation after so many terrible encounters of redness, irritation, or breakouts. I’m sure we’ve all experienced products our skin just doesn’t like. Well, I have yet to try a Fresh product my face doesn’t like. In fact it’s the opposite problem. I like everything I’ve tried. #obsessed. They also put together great sets so you can try a variety of products but in smaller sizes. You know what I’ll be asking for come Christmas.
Rose Face Mask – I’d already read amazing reviews about this face mask so I knew it was great. But then a Sephora employee recommended it when I asked about masks for sensitive skin. I got ahold of a test size and found that it is truly wonderful for sensitive skin. It has such a cooling effect while immediately brightening, hydrating, and toning. I love it.
Soy Face Cleanser – I’m thanking my lucky stars that I haven’t run out of this yet. I use it only when I know I’m going somewhere special. I have trouble with dryness on my cheeks and chin and this doesn’t strip away lovely face oils, instead it leaves it smooth and soothed.
Umbrian Clay Purifying Mask – This is the one product I haven’t tried beyond on my hand but I will vouch for it because everyone loves it and says it works wonders. I am all for masks. Specifically ones that are great for acne, irritated skin, and pore refining. Who wouldn’t want that in their beauty arsenal?
Sugar Lip Treatment SPF 15 – This is the first Fresh product I tried. Like any curious youngin’, I found this in my mother’s makeup bag and was instantly obsessed. I loved the feel of the sugar gently exfoliating my lips and making them super soft. Since then it has been one of my most coveted products.
Brown Sugar Body Polish® – Like the sugar lip treatment, I’ve been obsessed with this product for years. Initially reading rave reviews about it in magazines and then finally getting my hands on some in college. The brown sugar is a gentle but effective exfoliant and it has four different oils that leave your skin feeling insanely soft. Like silk.
Rose Floral Toner – Face sprays or toners are so popular right now. Especially the rosewater kind. For hydrating and cooling your face, prepping your skin for products before makeup, or refreshing your face throughout the day. A wonder product! My Mom keeps hers in the fridge for extra cooling power.
Black Tea Age-Delay Cream – I made the mistake of falling in love with a sample size of this product. Now I need it. I’m often skeptical of creams because they leave my skin feeling too greasy. It’s very thick and moisturizing. I use this product at night so it seeps into the skin and I wake up with a pretty, revived face.
Hesperides Grapefruit Eau de Parfum – Let me begin by saying I am very sensitive to scents and tend to not wear perfume. However, I love this product. It’s a gorgeous, refreshing scent that I have no problems with. Pink grapefruit with lemon, bergamot, mandarin orange, rhubarb. Not to make a joke here but it’s really fresh!
