This is my third and final outfit featuring Buki, and it’s just in time for their pop-up shop this weekend! (details below). When I visited their office a few weeks back, I pulled some pieces to feature on the blog including this cute Long Weekend Tee from their spring collection (coming in February!). Initially I was a little hesitant about such a flowy, long piece. I’m average height and my body type tends to prefer slimmer fitting shirts so I was worried about looking short, but this ended up looking really cool. It’s kind of…edgy meets effortless and sexy, as all white tees are.
If you’re new to Buki, lemme give you a quick rundown. Buki is a Seattle-based luxury sportswear collection created by design industry veteran Joey Rodolfo. Think fashion meets tech for an everyday wardrobe that can take you from weekday to weekend. The entire collection is made with their proprietary Kinoki-3.0 fiber technology, which offers state-of-the-art thermoregulation, epic moisture-management, and dynamic stretch & recovery. Oh and it’s all machine washable. Yes. Cool, right?
I wanted to go for an effortless, semi casual date night outfit with the white tee. So I went the classic route of white tee plus black skinny jeans, and black strappy heels. Plus a bunch of gold bracelets and rings, stacked and mismatched. Like I said, I was a little unsure about the length of the white tee but I balanced it out for my height with the heels and skinny jeans. One thing to note, and you can’t really tell here, but the floaty aspect of the Long Weekend Tee is underrated. It moves well with the body and is crazy comfortable. Can you see the common theme with Buki here? Stylish comfort.
